RACIAL JUSTICE
In the 1900's, racism swept the nation dividing people from friends, neighbors, and even family. Innocent people had been killed and neglected because of their skin color. Discrimination decided the way people were going to live their lives, despite the characteristics of a person. Then someone spoke out and started the Civil Rights Movement. Martin Luther King Jr. saw a life where no one was judged because of their skin type, but how a person acted. He led powerful leaders to see the true potential, of the nation, if everyone were to work together as one community. He believed that racial justice would one day happen and that we will all get along to make the future of the nation bright. Today racism still lives. At school, at work, and even in the comfort of you're own home. Children are coming home crying because they got picked on about the color of their skin. All you do is look into you're child's eyes and cry. Why not take a stand about racism? Why not make a better tomorrow for your children and the people all over the world? We can do it, together. Don't stand their and let racism take over the world again. Don't let discrimination decide the way you and your children will leave. We were created as equals, despite the color of their skin. Stand up and speak out for racial justice. You can create the better tomorrow. Racism will always be kept alive if no one speaks for what they believe in.
